The preferred mode of transportation here is the bicycle or the surrey topped tram that takes you to our beachfront cabana. In addition to large comfortable units, the resort has a championship 18-golf course, four tennis courts, a playground, two outdoor pools, a recreational building where you can rent movies, an exercise room, and miniature golf. The beach offers swimming and surfing fun, plus famous rare shells. Adjacent to the resort is a marina on big bay creek, a great spot for fishing. The sands of time seemed to have stowed away on Edisto Island. Not only is this one of the least commercialized beaches in all of South Carolina it is certainly one of the most beautiful. The scenery is almost poetic, where an hours entertainment might mean watching snowy egrets glide through magnolia perfumed air.
